The school
A full-time Islamic elementary school, on the same land as the masjid.
For our children and our community
Ten acres in East Pflugerville are set aside for a full-time Islamic elementary school and a masjid. The drawing below is a concept for about three of those acres. The rest stays open, so the campus can grow and Friday and Ramadan have room to park.
10 acres

About 3

$2.6 million
The full project, as the Khuddam have stated it.
$250,000
Phase 1, to be pledged by December 4, 2026.
The land
Alhamdulillah, the land is already in hand. It sits in East Pflugerville, beside a neighborhood and open fields. The blue line in the photograph is the parcel.
On October 26, the Islamic Center of Pflugerville and Al‑Huda agreed to build here together: a masjid that can serve a growing community, and a full-time Islamic elementary school on the same ground. The Al‑Huda masjid and its waqf in Manor stay as they are.
The first concept uses about three acres. That leaves the rest for the campus to grow, and for the parking a Friday and a Ramadan will need.
On the drawing
These are the pieces in the October drawing. They are a direction, not a finished plan.
A full-time Islamic elementary school, on the same land as the masjid.
The concept shows a masjid with a dome and a minaret. The masjid in Manor stays as it is.
The concept shows a soccer field and a playground beside the school.
Parking sits in the concept itself. The acres beyond it are there for growth, and for Friday and Ramadan.
Phase 1
The full project is $2.6 million. The immediate goal is the first $250,000, pledged by December 4, 2026. The architect, the structural engineer, and the site engineer are already under contract, and the build team has held its kickoff.
Phase 1 pays for the work that gets the drawings through the city:
Engineering and city approval are expected to take six to eight months. No payment is taken on the pledge form. The Khuddam of Al‑Furqan follow up to collect what you pledge.
Give from halal income. The academy does not take zakat money for building construction. Questions go to finance@al-furqanacademy.org.
The East Pflugerville land belongs to the project. About three acres are in the first concept.
ICP and Al‑Huda agreed to raise this masjid and school together, and to leave the Manor masjid and waqf as they are.
The architect, the structural engineer, and the site engineer are under contract.
Engineers, contractors, and the build team met to start the work.
$250,000 by December 4, for design, engineering, permits, and county fees.
Engineering and approval by the city are expected to take six to eight months.
Early 2027: the wider joint fundraising. Summer 2028: the target for completion, ahead of the 2028–2029 school year. Both dates depend on funding and on the approvals still ahead.
Surah Al-Waqi'ah
وَالسَّابِقُونَ السَّابِقُونَ
أُولَٰئِكَ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ
And the foremost in faith will be the foremost in Paradise. They are the ones nearest to Allah.
Surah Al-Waqi'ah, 56:10–11
Alhamdulillah. Allah has given this community another chance to build His house.
